Rhys and I met on a dating site in December 2020. These sites work, who knew!?

Our first date was during the horrendous Covid days, so we weren’t able to go on an official date. Our first face-to-face meeting was in Telford shopping centre, random we know. But when you have no other options, you gotta think outside the box.

Shortly after we met I was due to move into my new home. We’d be apart because of Covid, and we really didn’t want that. So I asked Rhys to move in. He was more than happy with that! We’ve not looked back.

If you know, you know, but Rhys is great around the house, which is super-useful when it’s a new house. It’s Rhys’s efforts that have made this house, our house and our home.

It’s been quite the ride together.

We’ve had some fun adventures and holidays over the last 4 years – Majorca, Turkey, Italy, Spain; not to mention all the cottages and camping.

I always knew he was The One and on December 25th 2023 Rhys asked the question every girl waits to hear. I was shocked and so, so happy. It’s the Christmas gift I was not expecting.

We cannot wait to become Husband and Wife on 26th May 2026.
